After some success with weight loss using cardio as my primary means, I approached EJ to try something different. Working with him showed me the value in added weight training to my workout routine. I had run several races but after being introduced to powerlifting I decided to compete in strongman competitions. With his strongman certification, EJ was able to show me how to safely perform the lifts while training to prevent injury. I was able to set several state records in my very first competition and couldn’t have done it alone.

The workouts have been great and have left me feeling sore all while pushing me farther than I would push myself. I like how you get the body all warmed up and then there is the “workout” at the end. I will say that some of the equipment I do not have or feel comfortable using so I just modify and have been using free weights.
Too many of us get in the habit of only working the upper half of the body and think that running 2-3 times a week is enough for our legs. After two weeks of lower body workouts I have realized my logic of just running was doing nothing. The workouts have me now committed to building my core and my leg strength and already I am seeing and feeling the difference. The workouts take on the transformation of your whole body and helps someone like me learn to enjoy exercises that I thought only my wife was suppose to be doing.
